Im a new member and have been a reader for a while now. I thought it was about time to post some pics of my birds. After almost being wiped out completely last season by a stubborn little german short haired pointer puppy I have recovered nicely and plan to keep about 30 birds on free range this summer.

I had 3 roosters..down to two. Give the girls a break. it was a long winter!

Now this guy us what I thought was pure ameraucana decent but his slightly larger comb id throwing me off today.



Could be a large pea comb.. I dont know.. maybe he`s self concious about it.

Pics arn`t as great as they could be cause i am drunk. But...these are my new pullets I have aging nicely!



Hatching about 25 this year.. I have younger ones and some in the incubater still.


Should be a good year as my new dog doesnt eat birds.
