I have Austra whites, and I believe leg horns ,also jersey giants etc. all around the same age of around 11/12 weeks. I know jersey giants lay later, but I’m wondering about California whites or Austra whites, there part leghorn right ? so I, assuming they lay by 4 months?

Still not laying and there grower is 18% should I start layer soon? I also added fake eggs to my nest boxes, in case they have the urge lol

I'd keep them on grower until they are all laying.
Some folks never feed layer, just provide a separate dish of oyster shells.

Are those blue eggs fake...where'd ya get those?
You really only need 1 fakie in each nest.
Might want to add a perch about 8" in front of nests for easier access.

They are 16 weeks now, could be soon!
Here some tips about how to tell.....

Those are white eggs, Amazon is where I got them , and the nest boxes are only about 8 inches off the floor, never needed a perch. Been raising chickens 13 years, all have always been well. First year in 13 years Imstarting out fresh again. I haVe always had chickens go broody, put fertile eggs under them and keep my stock going, this year I started out all fresh with new babies. First time for Austra whites.

Ahhh..... several optical illusions, blue eggs and nest looked higher.
You must have forgotten the agonizingly long anticipation of pullets coming to lay.
They get there!
Best of cLuck!
