So the BREED name for the surrounding hens are "Easter Eggers"

so if i were to tell someone the breed name would they understand that?

Easter eggers are a mixed breed. They have Aracauna(sp)-I never get it right-even w/ all the discussion) in their mix to produce green eggs.

The brown hen looks like my partridge rock. -very dark and with slate dusting on the legs. The black looks like Minorca

Only if they are on this board! They are often referred to as Ameraucanas. Certain breeders I have talked to will get huffy if you use that term for your "mutt" chickens. LOL

Often an EE will meet most physical requirements of Ameraucanas except for the fact that they are not an APA accepted color. And some of them will lay a dark green or brown/pink colored egg, and the generally accepted color is a bluish green.

Are you sure that's a single comb? From the angle it was hard for me to tell. Looks kind of lumpy, but maybe my vision is just lumpy...
