Australorp broodiness

I'm new to Australorps, but not to chickens. I've read conflicting reports about them being a broody breed and not a broody breed. Anyone care to give me your experiences with them?

I once had one Black Australorp she never got broody but it depends.

Thanks. So far in what I've read, it looks like 50/50. I really don't mind broodiness, I was just wondering.

It appears best broody with a rooster to fertilized but not true in all cases. Just my experience.
