Australorp cockerel with black spots on comb

My head cockerel, Joker, has developed this line of black dots on his comb.

He does seem annoyed as he keeps shaking his head as if they'd come off.

The photo quality is awful. And don't mind his face-hes a messy eater and just had some oats, his favorite treat. Lol.

Looks like minor scabs that should heal up on their own. Maybe he rubbed his comb against some wire fencing.

Based off this photo I would say it's a scuff mark of some kind. They can scuff up their combs pretty easily. I'd put some triple antibiotic ointment on it. A hen could have accidentally caused that by shaking her head if they roost closely together. He's very handsome!
