Australorp cross with small comb

This pullet is around 26 weeks. I've had her for around a month. She has grown considerably in size but her comb remains very small. She isn't laying yet. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I usually keep Isa Browns so I'm used to the larger combs on chickens.
