Hello everyone I brought home 4 blue australorp pullets, one of which turned out to be a rooster. We thought he may have been since he looked completely different by about 5 weeks. He was much smaller and had no tail.
We recently just hatched our first batch. We think we have the genders picked out but are not sure if the new generation would grow in the same way.
We have 3 blues, 2 of which we think are boys. Both have small tails, one with almost none
1 splash we think girl
1 black we think is girl
The female blue had cocidia and hasn't seemed to thrive yet. She was growing like the black one, which is my main one in question. She is huge compared to the others. Her comb and waddles are out some but are a pink peach color but the waddles sort of blush sometimes where they are much redder and go back to pink.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts anyone has. Thanks bunches
