Im getting chicks in a few weeks from my feed store. One of the chicks i am getting is a australorp and i have done lots of reashearch and i have noticed that when they are chicks some have more white than the others. Like some just have a white under belly and some their face is white, so does the amount of whiteness affect the apperence of look of the chicken when it is older?

No, when they feather out into adults they will be black.

Although, my australorp had just one feather with a tiny bit of white on it lol

I've got a Blk Sumatra chick that is white and black. It will turn black.

I have them too. It's kinda interesting they start out white and black and turn all black. Here's a picture of my roo all grown up and a couple of his ladies in the background. He's got a really good temperment for a roo too.

I can hardly wait until my teen Aussies are fully feathered and glorious, as are these magnificent birds!!!
Thanks for sharing them!

Rachel'sFlock you need to take pictures of your babies and post them. Everybody loves to see the babies.
