This is Lucy(fer). I ordered him from mypetchicken, but was not planning to get a rooster. He's hatchery stock. I love him to death but he's tearing up my hens. He's good at free ranging, and I have no problem catching and holding him. In fact, I often will sit with him in the rocking chair. The $15 are so that I know he's not going to a dinner plate. I would prefer he goes to a no kill home, but I understand if that's the way you dispatch of bad roosters. He's very sweet, but will offer to attack blue boots or french toast. Be wary of walking too quickly with new things, he'll go after the new things but you'll think he's going after you.
