We have two Australorps that are 9 weeks old. They both have large, red comb and wattle but are different sizes and have different tail feathers. I think they are both roosters, but the tail/bottoms are throwing me off.
Bird 1: Largest Bird, picks on everyone else, Bright red comb and Wattle, has crowed but the bottom looks like a hen bottom to us. Rooster right? But what’s with the tail feathers?
Bird 2: Smaller bird, red comb and wattle, tail feathers look rooster to me.
Do we have two roosters? Or a bossy hen that crows?
