I posted about my Australorp Sydney a week ago, wondering if it is a rooster. I was convinced by this forum that it is a hen. However, I found Sydney crowing this morning. I know hens can crow, but how common is it? Or is this a roo (with admittedly a small comb)? These pictures are from today, just turning 12 weeks old.

I know everyone said girl on the last thread, but I was pretty sure. Idk why no one else saw it!
I'm sorry. Can you keep roos?

I can, but I kinda only want hens for now as a first-time chicken keeper. I know that roos have some advantages, but still not sure I want to keep him. My neighbor might take a roo and I can still see him that way. Or he might stay...Sydney is kind of a beaky pest but if he stays polite enough I might be okay with it. There are decisions to be made!
