This pretty lady is supposed to be a mixed breed with no Australorp, but her feathers really shine and she has the look.

How old?

What type of comb? It looks like maybe a straight comb, but hard to see from angle.

Color of bottom of feet. Australorps have pink-flesh colored feet bottoms.

Get a side shot of her standing so we can see her shape.

Where did you get her from?

I got her from an independent breeder, she’s 16 weeks. The woman had black and silver laced birds she said were cluchmates. The black’s comb looks like a v, very dark. The laced bird has straight comb.

Ok. So, the black one does not have a single straight comb? Then not a Black Australop, or is a mix. A BA has a single straight comb and red earlobes. At 4 months some females can still have a very dark comb. My Black Jersey Giant female had a black comb for a very long time ...well past when same age BJG male (same source) had red comb and wattles. Currently I have a Redcap female (a black feathered breed) and she also still has a black comb at 14 weeks old.
