Australorps in Italy

There is the gang of three. But the days of free ranging are gone now. A fox approached in the middle of the day and carried one of the hens to the outer fence of the property where he got stuck.
We were able to take the chicken off the fox. She didn't have a scratch.

It is the third time she survived a fox encounter, I wonder how many lives she has. But we don't want to find out and we built a protected run. Much safer. Though I am sure she is dreaming of the days of freedom and telling tales of the battles she won.
