Australorps??

I was at a livestock auction the other evening, and these birds came up. No one else was bidding so I got 6 of them for .50 cents a piece. I believe they are australorp. They are all jet black all over with some lighter coloring around the head, and the one has red hackles. The other 5 are just black, black, black. they are beautiful, and very calm and like to be petted. Oh, they have HUGE puffy breasts. DD cup to be sure! Attaching a pic of the one with color and one other. Any ideas?

I am not super experienced but they look like black sex links to me. I have an Australorp roo and they do not look like him. Australorp usually has white on the face around the eye. Like I said though no expert!

There is a little light coloring around the face, but they are only 4-6 weeks old right now. Probably become more pronounced as they grow.

the ones that have light feathering around they're heads are probably BSLs.

Superb!! I got 5 BSL hens and a roo for $3 total!! If they are, it looks like they should be great egg producers. Super happy about that buy!

Aren't roo bsl the solid the black ones and the hens the ones with the brown?......

Oh Heavens I hope not Stina!! Bite your toungue! LOL. I want HENS! The colored one just LOOKs more roo like, and has more (for what it is worth) of a comb currently. I am sure as with all things chicken, that time will tell. Don't let that stop you from praying for hens though, cuz I will be!
