Is this a Aus roo and puller RIR or vice versa?

I would think a RIR roo and Australorp hen because I had an A roo with red sex link hen and all chicks came out black. But I’m curious if someone knows for sure.

I am actually trying to hatch Production Red roo with Australorp hen in a few weeks but gotta give them time to mate and to let the old rooster’s seed to die off.

That's what I'm hoping for because I already have the Aus pullets and the RIR are in the incubator due to hatch at the end of the month along with speckled sussex hatching the same time.

um...you wouldnt get blue birds out of an australorp and rir so that photo isn't of the mix advertised

Are Blue Australorp Heritage? The article did not mention where they are getting the Blue mutation from but for I am dure is not from RIR

if the australorp is black you can't get blue chicks out of that breeding

Not sure where they are getting the blue but the hatchery that has them says they will guarantee that you will get the color blue in the bird. New to all of this so I'm just curious.

I didn’t know there was such a thing as a blue Australorp but I just saw a pic and it looks very similar to that rhode island blue.

Same here but I have both of those breeds but not sure that I breed them. RIR are still in the incubator along with speckled sussex. We have golden lace Wyandottes and Austrolorpes in the coop now that are only about 2 months old.
