I have installed the poultry butler door and it finally is working consistently great. I had to get a second sensor because we installed the first one where the weather probably ruined it or it was defective to begin with. Just these past 3 nights, when I go out to do a head count, I have found about 5 of my 10 chickens still out in the pen. It seems to have just started. Previously, they would all be in and on the roost. Can anyone think of why this would be happening? Thanks for any input you can give me.
I'm always so relieved when I get them into their nice safe coop.........especially with this winter weather here in KY.

Maybe it's lighter outside w/o the rain & snow and makes them want to stay out longer. Or maybe the sensor got some rain or mud in it. Again.
