We have a Little Giant incubater #9200,we recently used it for the first time on 6 eggs and had 3 to hatch, and we now have 12 eggs we want to incubate. We bought a auto egg turner to go with the incubater yesterday. Ok,let's. Get to the question :)
Has any one had a better hatch rate using the auto turner?
Please response, cause we don't won't to waste good eggs or kill any chicks. Thank you.
And God Bless.

My hatch rates went way up after I put a turner in, if mine broke tomorrow I would run out to the store asap and buy a new one

. Also when I added a fan my rates went up again. When its time to stop turning the eggs be sure to take the turner out. I actualy have another incubator(still air no fan) that I use as a hatcher.

Dawson, that turner is gonna be a great addition to your incubator but, it's no better than turning by hand. I had to reset the alarm on my cell phone every time I turned them, to remind me to turn them again at the proper time. A guy I respect greatly also suggested that even with the turner, to rotate the eggs 90 degrees every now and then. Don't turn them upside down, just spin them around 1/4 of a turn. Can't say if it definitely makes a difference since I do it on all of my eggs. I've never turned half and not turned the other half.
