Auto glass and free range chickens

Our property has the same sort of issues... The guy who lived on the property before we got it was some crazy hoarder I suppose because if you take a shovel and dig in the dirt you will pull up whole trash bags of 80s cans and bottles...dig down a little deeper and you hit the 70s. A little deeper and you'll find the 60s...And we've not looked any deeper than that. We bought the property from the brother of the trash man, who inherited the property when his brother died of what...gangrene...we found this out from the neighbors... anyway the brother we bought it from just bulldozed gravel over very thing after having the fire department burn the house down.. The trash man had no power or running water he collected rain water in a trough he had made out of cinderblocks... we find car parts and all kinds of crazy things all over. Hasn't bothered my chickens so far. I just get sick of going through garbage from eras past every time I need to dig a hole or it rains real hard... Also don't like that the whole yard is made of gravel... but I'm fixing that slowly but surely... and when he covered everything in gravel he didn't grade it right so we have a bunch of spots where water just sits and it's a huge muddy mess. Ugh. I don't want to talk about it. We have a huge gravel pile over where the gangrene water trough used to be and sometimes I freak out a little if I think about it too much.
