Automated Feeder

Is anyone aware of an automated feeder for chickens? Kind of like deer hunters use to throw food on a timed schedule? Normally when going on vacation I put out 30 gallons of water and about 75lbs of self service food. What happens is that the wildlife birds get most of the food. I have seen the step activated feeders, but I am not a fan.

There are so many versions for near bottomless feeders here under the articles section at the top. Check out one that works for you. You can even convert a 55 gallon barrel into a feeder easily.
