Automatic Chicken Door Question

I don't think most rodents would have a chance if they got in the coop with my girls. Little Mama cat followed me in to the coop the other day, the girls had her trapped, and I think they would have eaten her if I hadn't picked her up and saved her. As it was a few of them jumped up and grabbed onto her tail and wouldn't let go.

Oh yeah, hens can get very aggressive when they feel threatened. Roosters are naturally aggressive anyway. Mine eat mice whenever they get a chance. But I have never witnessed a big rat in a coop so I don't know what they would do with one.
