Automatic Chicken Doors for Ducks?

I am new duck owner and I would like to not have to worry about my flock being left outside because I was not able to get home in time. I plan to predator proof their daytime pen, and they will have a night time pen for super-secure safety, but as a back up I'd like to install an automatic door. Do these work with ducks? I haven't noticed my girls bedding down at any particular time, so I'd hate for someone to get stuck outside all night. Of course, they are only 5 weeks old and really have not been moved to a permanent home. This may be the reason for their lack of a bedtime routine as well.
Any advice or experience is appreciated.

Some nights, I find my flock inside, other nights they are gathered around the pond, other nights they are waiting for me at the gate. Automatic doors would only be useful to let them out of the secured coop in the morning, you'll probably need to herd them in each night.

Good to know! I kind of figured. Ducks seem to have a much more independent (in terms of their schedule) nature than chickens. I had a pair of chickens growing up and I swear you could set a clock by them.

Thanks so much!
