Automatic Coop Door opener for a Snap Lock Coop door

If this coop is located inside a run that is properly secured, you likely don't even need a door and can just leave it open 24/7.

If they always free-range I could see need an auto door. There are some that open sideways, but for a vertical one you could likely just remove that overhang piece so it sits flush; or cut a hole in the wall for door.

Installation hardware needed will be determined by which door you choose to buy

I just want the hardware, not a new door. To make it shut and open automatically. I like the door I have on.

This is the only one that I have found specific to the Snap Lock coop after lots of research. I just have to pinch pennies for it. :) But it is really nice.

This is what the coop door looks like. I am not looking to replace the door. I just need the hardware for an automatic opener that is simple. Battery/solar, etc. Any ideas? It opens to the right. Thanks so much for your help.

I finally found a safe automatic door that will fit the large Formex Snap Lock coop. It features solar and rechargeable battery or plugin. Solar panel cords 10 to 100 feet. You can remove the damned door awning on the coop that gets in the way because this door will cover the opening where it snaps in. This door is made by a couple of American Chicken Farmer guys.
