Automatic Coop Door - Yay or Nay

Hello All,
I'm considering installing an automatic coop door and I'd like to get your opinions... Good idea or Bad idea? If you have one, did you make it yourself or did you purchase one and if so where did you buy it from? I'd appreciate any input

Definitely yes, we have the pullet shut automatic door. Love it! We bought the solar panel for charging the battery. Works great.

I have the ADOR. I love it. I don't have power and it works with one of those big flash light batteries. I had to replace the battery once during the winter which I believe drained early because of the harsh winter. Opens at sunrise and closes at dusk faithfully.

Yes!! I have an Ador and love love love the ease. I chose it as it is powered by battery (one of those big flashlight batteries). My coop doesn't have electricity. It opens at sunrise and closes at dark. Never had a single issue with it.
