automatic door for coop

I just researched automatic doors, and I chose the Pullet-Shut door. There was a thread on this subject several days ago which may help you decide what door fits your needs. I paid $180 plus $20 shipping, and then bought a battery and solar panel charger at Dick's Sporting Goods for under $60.00. Now I wait for my door to arrive.

Hi, We love the addamotor as previously mentioned. LOVE IT. It'll run around $90.00 and a $10 timer from Lowes.

We got it at Discount Automation. http://www.discounthomeautomation.com/Add-A-Motor-Chicken-Coop-Motor-AAD20 I did a lot of research and decided on them. No phone number but quick to respond to email. They had it in stock (some places didn't and wanted to backorder) and were the cheapest to boot. It is $89.00 plus shipping. Got it in less than a week. EASY PEASY to install. Never had a problem with it.

Money well spent.

Auto door sounds great!

I don't know how the chickens will know it is door closing time! They probably won't know when it is opening time either, but I know they will figure that out on thier own!!

Automatic is what I run on all the time!

My wife says "Go ------, ------," and I know to wash the dishes, dump the garabge, wash the car, feed the dogs and chickens, pickup my clothes, put the lid down, etc!!!

100.00 bucks sounds cheap, if I could get it on all my AUTO stuff!
