Automatic door opening and closing

I have an idea for automatic door opening and closing. I have some leftover solar lights and a small toy motor. I want to connect the door to the motor and the motor to the solar light. When it gets dark, the motor will kick on and close the door. There will be a limit switch to turn off the motor when the door closes. My problem is figuring out how to make the motor reverse and open the door when the solar panel detects light (it would normally turn off the LED). Any ideas?
