Automatic drinkers

Does anyone have any easy simple designs for automatic drinkers? I have a lot of 25 litre barrels and hose pipes. I also have some plastic eton drinkers if i could in so way make them automatic instead. Would screwing a hole on top of the drinker and connecting a hose to the 25 litre barrel work? Or is there any better design Ideas? Thanks in advance
