Howdy folks!

I just purchased the Nurture 360 incubator after much research. I just set silkied serama eggs, Mille Fleur D’Uccle eggs and several standard breed eggs as well. This is the first time I have ever incubated bantam/serama eggs. I am a little nervous about them turning as often as the standard eggs will be with the automatic egg turner. Am I just being a nervous Nellie or will I have to turn them myself?? I just would just hate having to open the incubator so much.

I would love to hear from those who have had experience with hatching such little eggs!

Thanks, peeps! ❤️

My bantam eggs are always fine, even when they are in a turner built for standard eggs. I checked to be sure that they were being adequately turned, and they were fine. However, they were Bantam Cochin eggs, not quite as tiny as Serama eggs. Good luck! :jumpy

I did notice in the Nurture 360 my smaller silkie eggs didn't turn as completely as the larger ones, sometimes the spokes didn't move them. I just hit the manual turn button on the top a couple of times till I saw the smaller ones completely roll, I did this every time I went over to check temp and humidity so a 3-5 times a day. It was the first time I used it so I was also a little obsessive with it to be sure it was functioning correctly.

I will try that!!!! Thanks! :highfive:

Here is one of my MFD bantams on the left, serama on far right and BSM x EE in middle.
