AUTOMATIC EGG TURNERS

I have a home made incubator and its only 12 inches wide,is there any way to take off a rack or two to make a autoturner narrower and later put them back togather when i make a bigger bator???

you can make the turner by cutting off a couple racks, but i dont think there is any way to put it back together for it to work
