automatic feeders

hi just wondering if anyone has made a automatic feeder box for the chickens. i am fed up with feeding all the wildlife with my chicken food. can you show me what you all do please so only the chickens get fed.

I think your looking for a Grandpa's feeder.
I keep my feed in the coop, only had one House sparrow find its way in. I caught it in a net and quickly sent him packing. GC

The feeder your talking about where their weight opens the cover is costly .. I have food and water in coop 12 months a year . Just like above I’ve had a sparrow or two but not like outside where they emptied my feeders over night.

do you leave food in the house all night, i am worried about rats. don't want them hanging around.

I have a raised coop and I raise the ramp when I lockup the coop after sunset. Nothing bigger than an ant getting in. .
