What is Your Daily Feeding Routine?

I let my birds free feed, but they also free range; I have a 5 gallon bucket with ports, and two PVC gravity feeders. I probably refill the PVC pipes every 4-5 days and top off the 5 gallon bucket whenever it gets halfway empty—maybe 1.5 weeks. I haven't seen any signs of pests!

Fermented, custom whole grain mix 18.5 percent protein, every morning at dawn. 20% all flock free choice.
Treats:

Homemade flock block - about 19% during cold weather.

Table scraps occasionally.

King Salmon roe and guts from wild Salmon right off the boat.

Kale, lettuce, pumpkin, apple peelings etc. from my organic garden

King salmon roe! These chickens are eating good!

I leave 50lbs of feed out at a time so I only need to refill every month and a half roughly. Several cats hang around my property so they take care of any rodents. Water gets changed as needed

Any gravity feeder could help ease the vacation process. That way the routine isn't upset too much and acts as a fail-safe.

On that note: Consider a few more days worth of feed than required. Water too. We had a sitter experience an emergency mid-sit and, luckily, the hens were supplied enough that we didn't have to cut our trip short.
