I can find several companies in the UK that sell automatic pop doors for chicken coops. Are there no companies in the US that sell these? If there are, who? Thanks

We got ours at Foy's Pigeon Supply online (Foyspigeonsupplies.com). BE FOREWARNED THOUGH: we had several problems with the door working properly (sent back twice) and the owner, Gerry isn't very pleasant and doesn't seem to value his customers (although the staff members were very helpful, as helpful as he would let them be). We finally got it all straightened out and it works like a dream now, but they have NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT at Foy's for the doorkeeper. We left several messages for someone they said would call us back, but he never did.

I think Foy's is the only game in town right now b/c I looked around for a while at the end of 2009 and couldn't find anyone else that sells the electronic doorkeeper. You CAN order from the UK and I think it may be cheaper, it was when we looked.

You can see the metal door in the background of this photo. The "doorkeeper unit" is above the metal door. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ours!!!

Really?! I had great interaction with the people at Foy's. I think the person I talked to most was someone by the name of Kimberly. But that was like 3years ago.

I sold my door recently (only because my new setup doesn't need a door to open and close) It was still in perfect shape except for a few cobwebs. NEVER had a problem with it not opening or closing. Only problem was I didn't adjust it properly with the season changes and locked them out onces. Ooops.

I'm sure I would've thought they were wonderful if I had gotten a WORKING DOOR the FIRST TIME too! We didn't get a working unit until they ultimately had some repair guy fix the defective unit they sent back to us broken twice! They weren't as friendly on the tail end of the repeated interactions, but it wasn't OUR fault the doorkeeper they kept sending back was broken! All's well that ends well though. I just thought I'd share my experience in case others want to take their business abroad where technical support is available by the manufacturer.
BTW: Kim is STILL there and she was lovely each time I dealt with her.
