It's ok I never look at the dates lol. My girls can't roost on them and I have the bucket either suspended in the air by a rope and tree branch or supported on a smaller bucket or bricks. No poop, no broken seals to worry about. Absolutely amazing. All you need is a drill and buckets. The only issue is there isn't a constant water source so you do have to fill them up from time to time. I also spray the algae out of the cups though I don't think its bad for them if you dont.Thank you so much for letting me know! I guess I never thought anyone would actually LEAVE this forum rofl. I built water buckets and used pvc pipe and nipples but I can’t keep my girls from roosting on them! It breaks the seal and then they leak lol so I was looking at different ideas and came across that post (didn’t look at the date). Thank you for sharing the suggestion. I may have to try those. LOVE BYCs!!!!
