Thank you. This was my understanding. I am most confused as to why the breeder has advised that a dot on the head = girl.

Not sure. I have Bielefelders and the patterns are the same at birth. My white dotted chicks are definitely cockerels LOL

I really am most confused. Not with your advice, but with why it's the opposite of the very experienced breeders. I know I have 6m&2f!

There's other website that shows with pictures for auto sexing breeds, some have it on hatchery sites as well. If you need positive conformation.
