Avatar Pics - Why U Dont Use your Own????

I am curious. Most people here don't use their own pic for an avatar. Its a pet or a clever toon of some sort..... Curious of reasons?

I have my picture on my BYC page if you want to know what I look like....I just like putting my chicks/horses up more than myself I guess....
