Stop worrying about stuff like that. First of all, we don't even have the bad H1N1 strain here in the U.S. as far as I know.
You are right--it has not been in the US according to the CDC and the USDA.
Jhillsomo- just wash your hands after cleaning in the coop and you will be fine.
As for your sick birds--follow the treatment schedule on the medications you bought, and you should be fine. Try & keep the tweety birds out of the coop & put apple cider vinegar in the chooks' water to prevent transmission of disease.
