Poodlemum
Crowing
The two coops outside are easy for me to deal with. Kids aren’t allowed in them for now, strict orders and will be monitored to prevent them feeding grass, etc. Easily biosecured. Got it handled!
HOWEVER! I’m trying not to overthink my indoor brooders… We’re spraying shoes with bleach, washing hands, etc after coming in from outside. Should I move them outside to further protect them??? We have a dog that needs to be disinfected as well. The kids love to go in and out constantlyyyyyyyy.
1 week old BYM with 2 week old Polish
3-4 week old silkies, Buttercups, Faverolles
Fully feathered bantams with 4 week Barnevelder and Wyandotte (these guys have a plan to move out anyway)
Coop is a hoop coop covered in greenhouse plastic. Currently running two heat lamps due to 20° overnights, even though the buggers should have been fine. Bantams off heat, mixed middle pen has a lamp, babies have a mama heat pad
