I’m not even sure that we’re allowed to have chickens in our county, lol.

Forgot to list the symptoms my hen was showing in the previous post.

She was:

Lethargic

Fluffed up

Hemorrhaging on the legs

Respiratory distress

Stumbling

Weak

Diarrhea

I did. Got a reply, answered to it, now waiting for a reply to that one, if that makes sense.

10 at the moment. Will get it down to 6. I technically COULD, but they aren’t really my favorites, and they will take up too much space.

To me, the problem isn't if my birds get it. It's if the govt sets up quarantine zones, like they did on SoCal with vND. It won't matter if your birds are sick or showing symptoms, the govt will come in and kill all of your birds if you live within a certain radius of an outbreak. I haven't heard of that happening yet with this HPAI outbreak, thank goodness. I'd rather have my birds all die from AI than from inept "euthanasia."
