Avian Flu. Panicing.

I just heard a local petting zoo in my area had avian flu in their ducks and geese. Should I be worried? I have lost so many birds recently If my chickens get avian flu I don't think I could do this anymore.

Hey, are you in the UK? My area is riddled in avian flu now. We are sorting all the measures tomorrow but I have Chickens and Ducks, so worried as its spread so quickly near us

How are your chickens kept? Are they currently contained so that they can’t mix with wild birds (ie in a coop with roof)? I think that’s all you can do realistically, maybe a foot dip at the door so you don’t carry anything in on your feet. Your chickens should be pretty safe then but I appreciate it’s a worry.

They are kept in a coop in my barn and they have an outdoor run. But they get out of their run all the time.
