Hopefully it stays contained along the east coast. I’m in NY but I don’t want it to spread to the rest of the country. That would be a nightmare.

The comingling at northern and southern ends of flight paths suggests that it likely will.

I just signed up for an informational zoom video on Mar 1st put on by Penn State Agricultural Extension Program. They will be discussing how to prevent Avian Influenza as backyard flock owners and what to watch for. Is anyone else signing up or have heard of it? It’s at 7pm EST time and free.

I can't seem to find any info on that on their site. Do you know whether they'll make a recording of it publicly available afterwards?

i was thinking of putting my birds in my basement (dont worry, its spacious, clean, theres tons of food and water down there for them) but how long to keepthem in there? And when to start?

Yep, they just come in and slaughter your birds. They also did not do it in a humane manner.

People will come and kill our birds?
