Aviation thread!

My husband and I had a joke about having a kiss under the Blackbird, which didn't happen, but it was an ongoing joke for the whole time we dated. And unfortunately, there isn't actually a way to stand under the Blackbird at Wright Patt, which is where we had our first date. But he ended up proposing (at Wright Patt) behind the starboard engine of of one of the Blackbird's predecessors.
We now have three different SR-71 model airplanes here. One of them I got at Wright Patt and one, a VERY nice one that I will have to share a picture of sometime, was a wedding gift.

To tell the truth, I could probably get a picture under the blackbird at my museum, the hanger that it is in is usually pretty quiet, not a bunch of employees standing around, so I could just hop over the rope barrier and get a couple pictures taken. Like I have pictures sitting in an F-14's intake and with my hand on the muzzle of the A-10s GAU-8 cannon.

Lol, that sounds great! You could likely get away with it at Wright Patt too, on certain days, but I'm not that devious.
