I was getting my older babies together last Friday to take to auction, and I was seperating them by sex. So obviously I was looking at them each pretty well.
One of my jumbo girls apparently got a hair wrapped around her foot (most likely when they were inside and would fly out of the box). Her middle toe and the toe on the outside of her foot were really purple looking.
A friend of mine that was here said getting the hair off now would do no good, since the toes were already dying. Today the toes look just about black, and kind of shriveled.
What do I do with this poor girl? She will obviously be handicapped. She will need a solid bottomed enclosure, right?
I feel so bad that I didn't notice it before!
