I am so thrilled with my EE chicks! My older girls are both the brown partridge, so when I picked out the EE chicks this year I grabbed 4 that were way different from mine as chicks. They're about 5 weeks now, and look what they've grown into!!!

One of the SLW chickies had to get in on the photo shoot.

And Pecky Sue the GLW was just everywhere I was!

We got 3 almost black EE chicks this spring. We'd gotten chipmunk colored ones last year, and all grew up into various shades of brown, gold red and black. Would you believe out of the 3 darkest chicks, one is blue/black (the roo), one is white and black and looks like a Sussex, and one is seriously looking like an osprey. I'll have to find pictures.
It so cool that they change so completely from their chick fluff to something unique.

I got this spring that are about 8 weeks old now. I wanted a wheaten cause my neighbor has such a pretty one, so I picked out 2 that looked like they would be wheaten. Thier bodies are wheten but their heads are a kind of purple gray. Very cool looking. I'll have to get pics.
