I have 2 male Red Golden pheasants. No females. The one has recently started to crow and today we looked outside and there was a huge male Ringneck hanging out on the step of my run. He walked all around it, then came into the yard to eat some wild birdseed. He wandered all around our yard and really was not too afraid of us. We were able to take tons of photos and get within 15 feet of him. He hung around all day with the chickens that were free ranging. He was doing his mating call with the flapping. I hope he comes back tomorrow. We wonder if he was an escapee from someone else's place around us, as he was so tame.
