I've heard about them doing it but never witnessed it until now! 👀
 
Update: the quail are doing fine, eventhough, we have had some cool, misty rainy nights. 2 of the runts didn't make it, I didn't think that the would...so now there are 4 left. They are doing fine but making Dad worry about them alot. They go through the netting to the other pens on either side and sometimes on the outside of the pens...living dangerous! :rolleyes:

It has been cool and wet up in Northeast Texas too. I'm glad the little Bobwhites are doing well. If I ever get into quail again, I think I'd want to have a large natural aviary. I like the more wild quail: Bobwhites, Texas Blue Scale, Gambel, etc. It might be fun to have a couple of aviaries with plantings and what not.

Are those Bobwhites the only birds in that aviary/pen?
