well, I killed all my hens and butcherd them, and I only have a rooster now. and all the hens chicks. was it right to kill all my hens?

Well, now you will probably have to raise all the chicks yourself. It's kinda unfair to the chicks if they've bonded with the hens. It will be more time consuming on your part to raise them yourself as opposed yo having the hens do it for you. It's best not to do that in the future.
