awkward acting chick. not eating or drinking

I have a smooth sizzle. Just yesterday I noticed that she wasn't acting right. Usually she stays outta ever ones way. Runs, jumps, sun bathes, eats everything and all her treats. Now she's not moving very fast, lays a lot, no eating of drinking on her own. And her poos are pinky nail size (small) and white. Help? Any suggestions? I've force fed her some bread that was soaked in egg and dipped her beak in water. Anything else I can do?

My chicken had the same problem. I think your chicken has sour crop. Try massaging its crop, try to put some warm water in its beak, also try to feed it some yogurt and olive oil which you could mix.

I hope it works. Crop feels mushy almost like a water balloon. Is that sour crop?

Yeah. It is when the grass gets stuck in the stomach, (usually long pieces.)
