Are you getting chicks? Because if the eggs are not fertile, she will be stressing herself for no hatch. If you are not getting chicks, you should break the broody.

I can’t believe she has stayed safe! We have friends who run their dogs in our area from time to time and this last late winter got a cuyote in our back woods! But she doesn’t look much worse for wear each couple days when she pops out to munch and drink and still takes hand fed treatsSo glad she's still around. It sounds like she picked a great spot to hide out! Hopefully you can catch and confine her.
