I had such a nice treat today.

I was sitting at the café table on our screened-in front porch checking my email and my little 4-week-old bantam rooster (I think he's an EE) flew all the way over and landed on my keyboard to say hello - not once but twice!

The other chicks want nothing to do with me but he is always excited when I come around as I normally take the lid off of the brooder to let him explore the porch and give him a lift on my hand when he needs help (the other banty will tolerate it if necessary but she doesn't care for it at all). :|

My little banty cochin always seeks my shoulder out at roosting time. That's how I know it's time to make sure all the girls are snug in bed!
