I was told she's a mix and a pullet but I really don't know either for a fact. Her comb is really small and the feathers she had on her legs when I got her 2 weeks ago are gone. Can anyone give any insight into what the mix might be and hopefully the sex? The lady had no idea of the hatch date and I'm guessing 7-9 weeks but it's a guess.

I'm thinking a Silkie mix. Silkies have the feathers on their legs. Also, it might of been with a TSC Silkie, not a normal Silkie. The TSC Silkies has less leg feathering, so that'd be why you chick their doesn't have many. (She might grow in a couple new leg feathers as she gets older.) The comb also looks Silkie.

As far as Ameracauna, I don't really seeing that in it. The Ayem Cemani would be more obvious due to the black feathers and skin, but that might not necessarily mean that's the mix.

Can you ask the person you got her from of what breeds she has, or, if they're the second owners, where they got it? You might be able to track down what she's mixed with that way. ;)

The lady has Ayam Cemani's and Americauna/EE. She also has Orpingtons and a couple others I'm not sure of. She said her Ayam Cemani cock gets out all the time and has a field day. She's not even sure it's mixed but said there was leg feathers when I got her. I didn't see them but it was a little dark in there and when we got home I was too busy adoring her beautiful face to look again. I'm old and I forget things. LOL

Ok. Then Ayem Cemani is obviously in it. The comb looks Silkie like to me. Maybe she had a Silkie EE mix? Either way, the comb ran strong from the mother. :)

Olive eggers can have feathered legs, so maybe it is Cemani crossed with Olive egger. But it almost looks like she has a rose comb, so I am not sure what to make of that.
I just had a really good look and it does look like a rose comb! In person it's really thin in comparison to the size of her head.
