Ayam Cemani - Take a guess? (6 weeks)

I think females do actually get them, they just aren't as eye catching. I also think they don't develop as fast as they do in males, but I could be wrong. I have two ayam cemani chicks and the female does have iridescent feathers, but they came in much later than (we think male, I should post a thread.) our male did.
All black feathers have iridescence, no matter the breed, gender, species... all black feathers. Even the black tips to my spangled hamburg's feathers sheen in the right sun. Its just a trait in black feathers.

What do you all think so far? Is "Rex" a pullet or cockrel?!

I have been leaning towards cockrel for a while now but this week I'm not at sure. He is right at 6 weeks old
It's very difficult to tell at this age. I thought my first two were Male and female. Wring. I thought my 6 others were hens. Wrong again bc I ended up with 2 more roosters. The roosters will develop very large combs and wattles. The hens have very small combs and they will be smaller than the roosters. I hope this will help you.
